There's me before the actual jump, hanging outside of the plane. This was my third jump, but you can tell by looking at my eyes and lack of expression that I'm nervous as shit. I post this pic only so you can see that I have a normal face, because when you're falling it pulls all you skin up and you look freaking weird... such as: There's the money shot. AHHHHH!!!!! I usually don't show people this pic b/c it makes me look so weird with the wind contorting my face. But you can see that I'm just sorta like 'OMG WTF!!!111!one!!'

You don't really get that feeling except for when you first jump... once you reach terminal velocity (~120 MPH I think) there's just too much going on... adrenaline blowing up, wind is really loud, it's cold even in summer... it's sensory overload. And since you're so high up (check the pic... the clouds are UNDER us... lol) you have nothing to really gauge how fast you're falling. The ground doesn't appear to be getting any closer for awhile, so it's really just you and a TON of wind. The sensation is more like flying than falling actually. It's like a massive gust of wind is coming up from under you and just sort of holding you in place.
The only time you really get that 'stomach drop' feeling is when you pull the chute. Going from 120 MPH to 20-30 MPH in a split second is pretty jarring.

Did I tell you that I'd give you a cake? If I did, I totally forgot. Get your booty online and send me a tell and I'll gather up some mats and bake you one. I don't think it does anything really, just makes you shoot off fireworks as you eat it or something.

Hi guys, nice to meet all of you and welcome to EO. Let me know if you have any questions with anything and I'll either do my best to answer it or steer you to someone more qualified. I know coming into a larger guild in the manner that you guys did can be intimidating sometimes (I've been there myself in the past) but hopefully you can all get settled in quickly and comfortably. EO has a reputation for being one of the more friendly guilds on Fenris so I'm sure we'll mesh just fine if you all are of similar dispositions. Again, welcome and nice to have you w/ us. -Grim

I'm not a SS nut, but I did grab pics of everything we killed on our last run-through. Moroes down. Can't see him very well as I'm laying on him and the angle is screwy. But I did get the phat lewts in the pic. Big Bad Wolf wtfpwned! This was a freaking FUN fight. First fight I've been in where I've literally laughed out loud. Something about the little pause that we all do after becoming Red Riding Hood just before we realize we need to start running like hell. I only hope Oz and Romulo and Julianne are this fun. Maiden down! We got her down on the first attempt so I dunno if it was luck or skill. Hopefully each subsequent attempt at her goes as smoothly as this one did, as it was honestly a pretty easy fight. Hopefully next week we'll down Curator and get someone a nice new set of shiny tier 4 gloves.

That horse is also a rare drop from said boss (Attumen the Horsemen). So if you're really lucky with your /roll if it drops, you could be riding around on that bad-boy.

They'd probably just make the Raven itself bigger if a Tauren is on it, like they do with the PvP Raptor (that's like 15 ft. tall). Either way, I'm not going to be seeing this thing for a LONG time. I need epic riding to start my epic flight form quest chain, and atm I'm broke. Going to be a LONG grind to 5000k gold.

You were/are the guild leader for Vertically Challenged, right? I remember seeing you around back when I myself used to play alliance. Doubt you'd remember me (if we even met) but the name was Jasmira, female NE Druid. I can't even remember what guilds I was in back then. I started playing WoW in November of 2006 and stopped playing my alliance toon around February (whenever that massive druid nerf happened). I went Horde to see the difference in quests/towns/etc and haven't looked back since. The AH sucks over here compared to the Alliance side, but you can also make yourself a buttload of gold if you know how to play it. Just sucks when you need to buy something. But yeah, Horde just feels more... I dunno... right. Or maybe it's just EO. On both Alliance and Horde, I guildhopped quite a bit. Nothing really made me feel like I belonged to any of those guilds. I knew EO was the right guild for me after only being here for a week or two... it just clicked. Anyways, hope you like it over here. There are less of us, but alot less kids as well. All in all, there's not a WHOLE hell of alot of difference between the factions, except when you play Horde you tend to win BG's much more often. So if you're into PvP at all, that's a BIG bonus. Anyways, welcome to EO and don't be shy in gchat. We don't bite (most of us, anyways).

I don't know exactly where I got my keylogger from (or else I'd have eliminated it before it did any harm) but I'm 99% sure it was a link from the official WoW forums. There was a page that I randomly stumbled across (on the druid class forums) about 'alternate' druid animal shapeshifts. It was basically a collection of pictures that someone came up with of cooler looking bearform/catform/travel form/etc animals. I didn't even look at the URL so I have no idea if it ended in .cn or what. Once I clicked the link, it send me to a fake google main page (I could tell it was fake b/c the URL of the page was all weird looking, plus my computer locked up for a few seconds when I accessed the page b/c stuff was auto-downloading and pop-ups started getting blocked (and of course there should never be pop-ups on the main google page anyhow). I quickly exited out of my browser, assuming that nothing had been downloaded to my computer. I ran anti-virus software but it didn't pick it up. About 3-4 days later, my account was gone.
So let that be a lesson. To be safe, I'd suggest not looking at ANY WoW-related page with the exception of a few that have been proven safe. Wowwiki.com, Alakhazam.com(sp), Wowhead.com, Thottbot.com, Worldofraids.com, mmo-champion.com... you should be able to get pretty much any info you need just from those sites. Avoid forums of all types, especially on the WoW page. I foolishly assumed that Blizzard policed their own forums and that a keylogger thread wouldn't be up long if it got posted. And yet that 'druid forms' thread was over month old (hence the reason I figured it'd be safe).
And of course, avoid all gold-selling and 'hack' webpages. Even browsing them is just asking to get infected w/ something. Also make sure to research your third-party add-ons before downloading them, as well as making sure that you are getting the program from a reputable source and not a 'copycat URL' type of page.
I don't mind people knowing about what I went through (ty anyways Markus for trying to help me avoid a stigma due to recent events) and I'd be happy to help anyone who thinks they may have similar problems. Trust me, my account and computer are safer now than they have ever been, as I've taken just about every precaution I can think of. Plus the full wipe of my computer means that there is a 0% chance that the keylogger is still on my system. Over the past 10 days or so I've been WoW-less so I've done alot of research into how accounts get hacked and how to go about recovering them and so on. I feel like I'm fairly knowledgeable on the subject now.
Oh, and one other thing that I WISH I had done. If you even accidentally come across a funky site and you suspect that you might have picked up a malicious program, go ahead and just wipe your harddrive. It's really the only way to be 100% safe. If you have access to a computer other than your own, change your WoW password and email password from a different computer and don't enter any passwords into your compromised computer until after you've wiped it. What really screwed me over in the end is that I used my current computer to change my password for both WoW and my email, while I still had a keylogger. That meant that the keylogger had access to my 'secret question' answer, my phone number, my address, basically everything they would need to steal my account. Once they had it, they changed my address, phone number, and email to non-sensical gibberish to prevent me from logging on to attempt an automated password recovery. If I had simply used my roommates computer to change my passwords after the compromise, the keylogger would have had no info about my account other than the password itself, which would have been easily recovered. By making the mistake of changing my password while still keylogged, I gave the keylogger all the info he needed to lock me out of my own account.
All in all it took me exactly 9 days to get my account back, and atm I'm waiting on seeing about getting my items restored. Blizzard is closed on the weekends (not sure if that goes for the 'Specialists' that help in situations like this, but I'm assuming it does) so hopefully I'll get at least the bulk of my stuff restored early next week.
It's been a tremendous ordeal and I don't wish it on anyone (well, except for the asshole hacker who got me... I wish it upon him as well as a healthy dose of cyanide).
