hey guys i had to write a short peice about 200 words for college and this what i came up with. i would really like your opinion on it if you dont mind.
The wind howled against the entrance to the cave near the top off frostmane mountain, It is the highest peak in the Alteric mountain range near the hillsbard. The ground was covered in snow and it blew and danced in the air as the wind blew. Inside the cave there was a fire dancing along the walls bringing the only light into the cave. A lone figure sat by the fire, his eyes watched as the fire flickered. His giant arms out stretched to grab a little heat on this cold bitter night.
His armor lay on the ground to the back off the cave, it was well battle worn. It stank of the blood of the many humans he had fought in his life time. It was heavy and awkward looking yet he was able to move with ease as he went from foe to foe. His shield was made of the toughest metal, and had saved his life on many a time, blocking the advancing blows that came from many. His axe lay beside him always by his side, always ready to strike at anyone that tried to take him by surprise.
His huge head boar the scars off many a different battle which now seemed such a long time ago. His tusks were cracked and chipped yet they still looked really menacing and could still strike fear in to any thing that came to close for there own comfort. His teeth were as yellow as you have ever seen and as sharp as nails, which were great for biting and chewing meat. He wore a ring in his nose. And his eyes were blood red. Redder then most have ever seen Blood lust they called it. His hair was as dark as night and was held at the back in what we could call a pony tail.
There was a sudden sound at the door of the cave entrance and he slowly reached for his axe and brought it to his side and rose slowly and moved with such ease towards the cave entrance. As he came closer to the entrance the noise became more clear. The sound of twigs and sticks breaking as something or someone walked on them. He came to the cave entrance, hidden by the darkness he watched and waited to see what would appear in front of him. He was ready to strike.
