We haven't been doing much as a shell recently. I am guilty of not doing anything, I've been content just levelling my main and hunting.
The mission 5 (edit: Bastok Mission 4-3 - Magicite, I think) raid was a disaster, it was annoying, people died to weak enemies...it was not a success. Anyone besides Stahn even finish it? We haven't scheduled anything since...the problem is nobody wants to step up and lead, nobody wants to organize raids/fund raisers, nobody wants to run the bank, nobody wants to keep tabs on members and make sure everyone is getting attention, nobody wants to update the site...
Right now, all I really feel like doing is hunting and levelling. Eventually I'll get tired of those things and want to do something else...but I don't know when. I've been levelling pretty much with the same people since lv. 30, I enjoy their company for the most part, and I don't want them to blow past me - not easy for a thf to find party without personal reference. Doesn't leave me with much time or desire to do shell things.
Anyhow - just my thoughts...what do you guys think about your role in the shell right now? At least the admins who take the time out to even read the forum.

Well, like Pogo I haven't been on as much lately, due to things in rl. And when I get on I end up solo'ing due to lack of groups at my level. I totally understand you wanting to stick with the party that you've been leveling with, it does make things so much easier.
My opinion is that the LS is dying off a bit (hopefully not dying totally, but we shall see). I think its cause all of us "old guard" raced to get to be level 30, and then everyone lost the cohesion once we did. Some keep leveling their original job, some got every advance job available, some got a few advance jobs, etc. So as Pogo stated in his post, we have a diversity of levels now. More specifically, the original backbone of the LS has a diversity of levels where before it was more focused.
On top of all that, the "newness factor" is wearing off for the game; for all of us. We all know that when a game is new you become obsessed and when you've had it for a while you start to do other things again. I know I'm guilty of this, hell I've been catching up on some movies that I haven't watched in the last few months.
Sorry about the delay in responding, I've been trying to play more than post, though I did read the original post soon after you wrote it.
More to follow soon hopefully.

Sorry I havent given a good response yet, I have been reading htis daily though Mixia went to Disney world, I think she was staying in Florida for a little while too (week or 2) but she did tell me the day before she left, so I imagine she'll be back on and playing hardcore as usual sooner or later. I miss marc I hope Fyreborn didnt leave too.. oh well, yeah there isnt much we can do about the level diversity I've been doing my best to wait up for my irl friends so that we can always group together, that's worked out for me so far. Anytime I see a member on that I can group with too I drag them along. I got a pretty good turn out yesterday 7 people including me and I had 1 other show up late who didnt get a chance to do it.
heres the list:
Blake
Tenshi
LadyScarlet
Koga
Kenja
Darvin
Myself - Dragonbane (dont expect to see money from me I was the killer)
the other 6 should have sent edbanker 4500 a piece.
Lets make sure we respond to loan claims, there's alot of uncertainty going around about if the guild bank will work or not. Some people dont feel like they will ever get any money from it so they dont want to contribute. But if we respond to claims more often people will actually see that it's being used for something. Whoever is using Edbanker needs to be able to log on, on whim in order to make sure the money gets sent asap. Since most of the time people ask for money they need it quick.
Anyway this is kind of a Frankenstien post with a bunch of different topic jumbled together but I'd rather do this than make 4 or 5 different ones and lose out on game time. I'll be back on here later or tomorrow c-ya

On the mission 5 raid I tried getting everyone organized I even got a high level to help us but everyone was ignoring me. As a WHM I am able to do a lot of stuff that doesent require killing myself
Later on that night people wanted to do the quest and I already spent 4 horus on it I offered to take you guys to davoi but only 3 people came... At least it wasnt as horrible as Mixias Ecowarrior quest.
