If your having noticeable over heating issues...i.e. shutting off...only can play for a certain period of time...etc...i suggest getting it looked at.

The PS3 runs extremely cool. yes it puts out a ton of heat..but that means its cooling system is doing a good job. The PS3 processor and graphics card actually runs several degrees lower then the 360's. Especially the new model PS3's with the 65nm processors.
