Arakiel got his hands on a PS3 recently and said the same thing. It was a solid game that lost a lot of its luster without the multiplayer... and a few quirks like the camera and shared deaths took some of the fun out of the multiplayer option

Then again, if you're willing to wade out into the sea of user generated content, you'll probably find a game that can hold your interest for a long time.
