This has been Really bugging me. I need some help on this one.. I MEAN REALLY NEED HELP.
Ok here I go on another tangent on something that is always debatable by anyone here.
I have noticed that this game has stages of development and I'll put them in here as I go and plus anything here I missed or you have a question about feel free to add this, after I'm done with all I have to say you might understand alittle more where I'm come from on this.
Here I go:
Lvl 1-10: This is the beginning for new adventurers at this stage of the game you learning the chracter you have choisen to play with.
You'll be learning about your stats.
and the basics to normal Combat. (Ex. Attacking, Targeting, Basic Macro setup for class.)
Learning the basic's to PT's as well
Lvl 11-20: Ok at these's lvls you learning some intermedit stuff like gear with stat+, weapons, and food hopfuly
You'll learn about PT Skillchains
Weapon skills
Mana Bursting for beginners
This is really easy stuff here, you doing like 2 weapon skills and 1 mana burst at this lvl for just smooth play, you also learn about chaining XP at this time. Now what you have going on it your learning about enfebs with different class, combining Job traits with spell (Ex. common 1 at this lvl is Divine Seal/Curaga)
Now that you've learn some of this you ready for some serious pt time here.
Your going to be in a PT with Skillchains and bursting, enfebs, and basic 2-3 chains.
This is all pretty easy stuff here on with more stuff now.
Lvl:21-30: Ok at this stage your doing the same old stuff as before talked about this time the chains should be better about common 3-4 Xp chains and better Burshing and Enfeebs to use.
Lvl31-40: Once agian your in the same boat, but this time you with some Extremely Better skills now and your PT setups change due to SATA and RNG's abilities. this all makes that Xp much fast and easy you should be at xp Chains 5 at this point no matter where your exping at.
Generaly people in Pt at these lvl are tryint to bit off more then they can chew they are still trying to get max amounts of Xp at these lvls, like 200 plus if possible.
Lvl 41-50: ok samething follows here as well this time people are getting to know now that it isn't about the highest xp give per mob, but how much xp your getting per Hr. now with that said I'm taking this a bit farther.
Why at this point due we learn that its better to get XP per HR?? This isn't anything new, this should be done from the get go, not detemend by some kind of lvl range, but it is in this manner that it is played. only people that get away with this at low lvls are static pt that have played with other chrs and learned what they have to do at this point..
My problem with this is why isn't this changing??? why when people have been changing jobs and starting over again, does this not filter though to other people. That Xping is made easier now and faster for starting people. Plus on that same note, giving low lvl starting chrs the chance to learn better and sooner to make all the xp gain that much better.. Why has this not changed? I'll follow more on this near the end of the post.
Lvl 51-60: Now at these lvls its all about genkai's and AF gear, the genral Xp gain is the same, with the exception of having more tools at these lvl's to handle it now and better.
But once again the format has changed RDM/taru are no longer support to Melee anymore cause there Str and Att, doesn't do any damage to make any difference. I kinda beg to differ on this note. Problem I have with this is RDM's can continue to melee even if its on auto-attack and just sit there and cast there hearts away, but there are lags in the middle of spells that allow a RDM to hit a mob from time to time, but I do agree that Melee shouldn't be there main focus, its all about the REFRESH BITCHES.
RDM's for some reason have been labeled for only one reason there ability to refresh people for extra mana. Now I love this ability mostly for soloing on my own time. PT's just run faster with this as well. It is an awesome ability that can begiven to a RDM + there 2H chainspell..lol Now that's a site to see there.
Now with PT's at this lvl its about about BRD's and RDM's nothing else I'm been in Pt's where there not even trying to be organized to anything that can stand a chance. they just want the RDM to waste time on a PT that was doomed in the first place, but in our minds we just hope it doesn't turn out to be like that so we stick around.
Lvl 61-70: Ok this is going to PISS ME THE HELL OFF NOW>> <SKY ACCESS> this is what it's all about with people, just jumping into a pt and xping isn't good enough anymore.
Ok now, I'm going to be flying off the handle now so hang on:
Who's Bright Fukn idea was it to say that Sky is the only place to lvl now?? WTF there all kind of places out there that havn't even been fully explored by everydoby yet like attaw Chazem ( sorry for spellings) then the B. Bay. some other places but what the hell SKY and MOON and SEA arn't all that people. I do say that xp itsn't bad there but mostly people go there for the god fights.
Plus I've seen these fight and xp there, The PT's go back Noob status again with all the abilities and Weapon skill all over again.
At Sky Pt's there like to run with SC+MBing Stun and all the Enfeebs that you don't like to use at even lower lvls but its ok now in SKY WTF>>> some of us do know the value in MBing spelling like Choke and Burn, Even Dia and Bio. MBing this crap isn't new, but now its normal to do it for the enfeeb then it does at lower lvls when they havn't changed anything about the spell. I mean choke at lvl 20 is still choke at lvl 65, but now they use it more..WTF?> why havn't we been using it from the get go and not waiting until lvl 65 to use it, well this is easy, people at these lvl's are now learning the value of Stat dropping Spells vs. just not doing it at all,
Ex- I'm using Choke on Antic/Pld's in quicksand caves now this Drops there VIT alot, allowing us to hit it harder, but even better with a MB+Choke ability we have now just increased the VIT drop and DoT. So WTF why havn't this been a normal and common practice? why havn't we been using some of this spells, SE made the damn things for a reason and one for each stat and ATT and DEF, why arn't these in more common use?
My RDM skill I would have to say are off the hook with Mana whoring and Enfeebing with all the knowledge I've learn I due some pretty weird stuff that help alot in a pt, but there are some people that deside that because its not normal play for a RDM that its fukn wrong your a noob and w/e else they decide to say..
I have a problem with people that just don't ask and say Why did you cast that?/? cause maybe there something you dont know and hav no fukn idea about.
I'm not trying to start some type of RDM flame post or anything.
But here are the questions I have now? and please leave me some answers.
Why is it wrong to listen to other people for a change?
Sense when is there only one way of playing a chr or a PT?
Will people allow you room to breathe and learn the different styles of play best for them.
Are static PT's really becoming the best way to play for fun and a teamwork?/?
Think about how you played when you first start this game to now, whats changed is it cause you been told what to do or learned it on other own by asking questions and learn what other of the same class have done?/?
The reason I'm going on a tangent here. I've been seeing some spells used at one time I used as a normal enfeebs, like the choke, burn, rasp, but then to be told why use it the DoT isn't that good, but they don't get I'm using it for the stat decrease, like when we get nailed by any of theses, like bats, using sonic's and dropping the Evasion we get, then they hit us for like half our life we wounder why, but don't learn from it.
Just in my eyes there spells that SE have given us to use and we dont but yet you have to be like lvl 65+ to learn hey its ok to use these spell, but in fact now its a very common thing now. WTF?? why do we have to wait so damn long to use spells that we have had sense lvl 20 or so.
I just think this game is getting so damn set in its way that, we see a JP player do somthing outta the normal we think hes the pimp shit and its nothing new. just using something else in a new way, but we just don't think about it in this way. we have been trained that it's all about the dmg and not the easy xp..
What I want to some insight from you guys let me know about my view, if its wrong or what not, trust me you wont hurt my feeling on subject in any way. just starting something new to talk about for myself that all.
I have alot more detail on some of this that I'll try and post for you guys as well. like PT examples and combintion of spell and skill that might not be normaly used.
