Several of you were online the night of Weds March 16 and saw both Markus and I log out without much more than a "goodnight". What made this unusual is that we were just about to start in an xp party. I can't speak for Markus, but here is my reasoning.
To those in the party, I'm sorry. I could not deal with any more of the stress. There were issues with player choices, and unfortunately people did not seem to want to voice those issues to the group. Now as we did have an "outsider" (not in our LS), I can somewhat understand.
However, we could have used linkshell chat to iron out any concerns. Instead, I was the focus for many tell's. And to be blunt, I'm getting burned out on being the mediator. If Indulge is trying to tell me one thing, Krazi another, and Markus a third... Why can't we just all talk together about our concerns instead of bitching behind the others backs?
That being said, I'm not pointing fingers at anyone, and I'm guilty of the same practice too. We're all supposed to be friends, at least I consider all of you friends to varying degrees. Some I've known longer than others, but that doesn't matter. As friends we should be able to work this out together, lets hope we do.

I know what it is like to be the mediator, solver of problems, regulator of differences...To be honest I haven't felt that burden in a long time. It appears our SH's are doing a hell of a job and our members too...
I hope we can work this out as well, I don't see why not.
The -issues-
Krazi wanted to join our party. I didn't even think of inviting him, even though I should of known he would want to join. FACT: (or almost a fact) I am pretty sure that Krazi would of slowed down the XP session, it remained to be proven. FACT: Krazi just bought a new weapon, Krazi is on his only week off for a while, we are probably gonna leave Krazi behind (level wise, we have more free time then him so he wont be able to keep up).
So it looked like the last night for us to level mains together...So I booted Bicent (63 MNK, I am really sorry) and invited Krazi. He was invited after I considered all the above statements and after he (Krazi) asked in LS and after me asking Krazi to disband from his current party (I asked twice). Tempus had washed his hands of the situation, said it was up to me and Indy. Indy didn't say anything in /tell or in LS until Krazi was actually in party.
Indulge /tells me that he (Krazi) probably won't be able to hit the mob, I say I know. A minute or so later I get what I think is a MT from Indy. The /tell said something along the lines that he (Indy) was pissed because I didn't ask him before inviting Krazi...
So I left party and logged out. That was a bad decision, cause the entire LS knows something is up, including our new friends Slap and gang, who I happen to like. I don't want to pretend that we are a Utopia...damnit we have been fucking close...
Then Jon sends me a message that Indy said in LS something along the lines: Thx EO it was fun while it lasted and he unequipped his pearl.

If you value what we have built and what we are trying to build, please...Do not fight in front of the kids.
Indulge, I never would of thought you would quit our LS. Felucca gave you a pearl such a long time ago....and you haven't taken it off once, why now? I don't play MMO's for XP or Gil...In UO our guild PK'ed and PvP'ed with the best of them. We have different goals in FF, but it's similar, make the guild better, good reputation, etc...I always thought you would be a part of that. I hope any problem you have with me can be fixed, you are a valued member of our LS...

I agree totally. I said the same to Indy as he decided that he is now not gonna be an EO member. I dont know what happened. I was grateful for the oppurtunity to test my new skills and gear a 61 knowing full well that I would be sufficient enough to keep up with you Tempus in the party. If not I was gonna leave. I dont know what happened between you guys. I'm sorry if I sent you tells askin if I could join up with you guys. And after you made the point to point to them and step out of middle in ls chat i did so by making my case of why i should get the invite. I did not want to ruin any of this stuff and for Indy to leave. I feel like a complete ass right now. Im sorry.

... And a good friend. I do agree with the dont fight in front of the kids bit, but it would have been better to argue it out over ls chat then what did happen.

Anyone who can interveen (<--Spelling) on my behalf, please do so. This is ridiculous, I don't like losing friends...I know, he said he wasn't angry and we are still friends but it's kind of weird, if we are still friends why can't you still be a member of our LS?

Ok so im going to go a little off topic here and say a few things that i think some ppl need to hear again. This has a little to do with what is going on in this thread, but not so much too it.
I have been noticing that there are a lot of ppl that are just out for personal gain in the game. Yeah sure they will help out with other ppl's stuff but they still got the "I" and the "You" additude in the game.The point of this game is to have fun, if you cant have fun with the game then why play. Some ppl are losing sight of what the general idea of the game is. Everyone here is friends with each other, wheather it is in game or RL or both. People holding grudges with each other is just plain childish. Most all of us are grown adults, with a few exceptions.
This is were this thread comes in, yea i dont know what happened, i was not on at the time, but for someone to quit the shell and not want to come back is plain rediculus. I for one have come accustomed to being able to use LS chat and talk to everyone and not have to use /t's. I dont want to have to have 10 diff convo going in /t's plus all the other's from ppl that are not in the LS. Over the period of time that i have been in this LS, there has not been a single person quit the shell because of reasons of other ppl, especially a SACK HOLDER. The only reason they quit the shell is because of quiting the game. I just think that ppl need to put this stuff behind them and appolagize for what they did and get on with the game. I have the fealing of tention in the LS and that is just not right.
This is how i see it.... How can i tell my friends that are on the game that have there own shell... "Yeah my shell is the shit and there is no other around that u will find like it" I can't not with this type of stuff going on. I dunno maybe i am goin over the line on this but this is my view of what is going on, maybe not just on this topic but on a couple.
please respond with your thoughts...
