let me find the web site, this is nothing like the demonstration from beginning of the game, this was footage from late into the game so i think it holds some truth, need to hunt it back down, or hope its on my pc still some place.

Yaio; You dont need PSP to watch it, you can download it. When I saw it, it was downloaded and routed through the TV ^^

Swatgodjr; Nauren is correct. The demo you saw contained footage not only from the beginning of the game, but midway through, including Midgar's distruction, Cloud jumping on to highwind with Tifa, and even the final battle with Sephiroth. Unfortunatley its not coming to PS3. Lemme see if I can find the last interview, where it was discussed. I believe SE was quoted as saying it would take around 7 years to port it over to a new console with that type of resolution etc.

OH! Its also written in I think the last issue of EGM, where they were discussing FF:AC they also have a snippet on FFVII remake, and there they said it 1) wasn't going to happen and 2) would require far too many resources.

the footage i saw looked nothing like the footage contained int he demo which i've seen but i saw something today that may explain that, but its not entirely been disproved that se wont make it but that it will take quite some time as of now for them to make. but i guess time will tell if its made or not, there does seem to be enough interest in it from everywhere that there may still be a possibility.
