I don't know if anyone else is suffering from this, but I sure have been all day now. Haven't been able to login in at all, not even a hopes of logging in. Yet again the servers are under attack (really sicken me that this keeps going on). I lost out on getting ToD on NM this morning and I'm hoping they have this fixed by the time Dynamis starts. Just had to get that small rant out....it back to RO with me for the time being. Hope everyone who is in the game is having fun.  |

You would think after all the attacks they would know how to fix it or stop the DDoS attacks from coming in like that. I don't know if each attack there a random IP behind it or what. Non the less, I agree...some pretty stupid people working there if they haven't fixed this yet after so many months of dealing with the attacks.
Wonder how many ppl have quit just for this reason....

yah, i was stuck on teh POL viewer updater this morning aswell for a coupla hours. it is teh gay, it reminds me back say like 15-16 months ago after an update the idjits at SE screwed up the networking code which caused various people to jus randomly d/c.. Krazi u or tempy remember when i had to deal wif that shit for like the MONTH it took em to fix jus a simple lil prob like that? we couldnt go out an get the static runnin cuz never knew when i would get d/c'd so we was all stuck at like lvl 48-50 for over a month cuz SE dinna know how to code their network software right

It the oddest thing really. Back when I came back to FF which was like 1.5 years ago, I was able to just stay online for like ever and not get d/c unless Cableone was having trouble. So I could set a mule up and sell, wake up and still be online. When they did there first big update this year, all I got was d/c after d/c. I couldn't keep my mule up to sell over night or anything. I thought maybe it something with Cableone. I move back east and still have the same trouble.
And then the DDoS attacks started happening. I'm starting to think SE going to go down hill for this if they don't get it fixed really soon. From what people have been talking SE got an [F] with the BBB. For so much we play a month, can't they hire some smart people to run the servers? geez....
Highly don't think it will. There people saying they have called SE and bitched and asked for some kind of credit, they won't give us any kind of credit for this crap.

arrggg, there's gonna be an update tomarrow, so after it takes like 6 months to get connected to the update server an then download the update which if its larger than like 10 megs hopefully wont take more than like 6 months more to get, then nother 6 months while it recheckes the version once again, i might be able to get in 1.5 years

Is tomorrow the -big- update? I thought it was just SE way of fixing that 3rd PT hack to be blocked. The one that anyway can change there char's jobs anywhere. Errr I know it down for 2hrs so don't think it the -big- update. Idk I haven't been paying much mind to the update part of it as much as I've been getting pissed about the DDoS attacks.
