I heard that FF7 AC is being released in the US shortly after the september 15th JP release date. The problem is I can only find places that will accept pre-orders for the PSP version. I heard that there is going to be a PSP and DVD version... I really hope both are released on the same date this movie looks awsome. Anyone here have any info on this release?

9/13 here I believe, simultaneous JP/NA release... I think you can preorder it at GameStop, but I'll have to ask my beloved when he gets home and get back to you. (He's the manager of one here).

Got all the information i could.
Japan: In theaters Sept. 9th, released on PSP and DVD Sept. 14th
(Sept. 13th is the date it starts shipping)
US: on PSP Sept. 13th. Can't get any info about the US DVD though. Looks like they keep pushing the date back. My assumption is that It won't be on DVD anytime soon for US because it'd be smart on Sony's part to force people to buy PSPs to see that movie.

I was afraid of that >< That is sooo wrong. Why dont they do that to the JP too... ohh I know why! They hate us because we kick ass  I am definatley not spending 350$ to see the damn movie. |

Final Fantasy VII is ALOT more popular here than it is in Japan. Why? Because Japan is use to good games on a weekly basis. Us here in America....well....aren't. So when FFVII came, everyone raced to get it.

This is about 5 months out of date, but... From what I heard, they cancelled the DVD version for the US indefinitely, it will be PSP only.

lol u know why they doing it too dont you. in japan the psp will prolly sell well regardless of wether it is usefull or not, but here in the US i think too many see it is a hunk of crap, so they doing all kinda marketing scams to get yah to buy one of these fairly useless items

I swear im going to write them the nastiest letter if they do not release a DVD version. Either that or I am going to buy the PSP and the movie, watch it, and then return both.

well generally speaking im pretty against pirated items. however in this case when they are really tryin to screw yah over i say jus find it on the net once it is released i would be surprised if you couldnt find it out there somewhere already anyhow.. lol however should wait jus in case they do release an english language version..

oO... Despite what all of the peace makers try to say. I still think the JP hate america (and everyone else)... So it would not surprise me if they tried to screw us over in order to make a few more bucks.

yep, we lost out on alot of great games in the SNES era an some even now for what one can only feel is they dont like us very much, i mean really u gotta not like someone to even not wanna take their money, be like man that 1$ bill been on that american for 2 months its so contaminated we will hafta wash it in disinfectant or some bs, lol
