Ya I very much agree, and that is my biggest problem with the psp..... there's no games, I mean theres tons of games but non that stand out as HOLY SHIT I NEED TO OWN THAT GAME TODAY, I bought my psp thinking MGS: ac!d would be that game but alas ive sold all 5 of my psp games: untold legends, ape escape, tony hawk, mgs: ac!d, and wipeout.
Everything I use my psp for I have a better version of it somewhere else, and youd think you'd use the portably tv but with a horrible battery life you really cant if you want to play games on road trips.
My main use for the psp right now is view pictures on that gorgeous screen, which is the psp strongest point... that wounderful screen. It has many other amazing points such as emulators... and umm music? of wait theres no room for music and movies and emulators. (I have 1gb stick and theres still not enough room for 1/4th the stuff I want on there and im putting my video files on super low res.
But still... it'll all be worth it if just one Final Fantasy makes its way to the psp other then advent children. Bottom line for me at least is: If you want fresh fun games get a DS, if you want a super cool looking semi-portable super small computer get a psp... if your a freak like me, get both and then only use one cuz your pockets cant hold two, lol

Well FF7- Crisis Core is being developed for PSP right now. I'd like to see some old ports like FF6 to PSP myself. Lord of the Rings Tactics is pretty hott looking.. and i'm enjoying Legend of Heroes right now on PSP.

Square seems to be making all their ports for the DS or GBA, FFIV is comming out for gba and FFIII is comming out for DS along with a new mana game, and crystal chronicals game for DS. Its really upsetting for me to have spent about 500$ canandien on my PSP when the only thing ive seen that really interestes me is CRisis core. I'll have to check out that LOTR game, but still... i doubt it'll be as good as Advance wars DS for me, lol Btw I love you Nauren dont hate me also loving nintendo

Eyetoy is gimmicy, MOST of what nintendo does is fresh.... vitrual boy and the gba/gcn hook up is gimmic.
There are enough games to show that the touch screen is a good idea. the touch screen just like the revolution controller have potential for new ways of play or just basic mouse play but on a console. You dont need to use it its just there for a bigger screen if you dont. Games like metroid prime hunters show great potential where I would never play socom for the psp it just doesn't work since it only has one analog.
P.S. the two gameboy games I listen were on the GBA before the DS so you can say they were just about the gimmick, lol

the touch screen has yet to impress me. the DS (although has the superior library) is a gimmick within itself to me. the analog button on teh PSP is kinda annoying to me also. If you ask me..they should have made an attachment that is just like the PS2 analog stick..so you can screw it in when you need to use a good analog stick.

I always wish the psp had two analog sticks but theres not room there and the psp would only get bigger if the psp had two analog sticks and I wish the psp was more portable already. PSP is really uncomfortable in my pocket and on the bus in the winter I hate taking that sleeve off the psp then balancing it on my lab then needing to start putting it on 2 bus stops earlier.
