They keep pushing the release of this one out because they want it to totally kick ass. The 3d and cinematics are going to be so awesome! I heard its gonna be released spring or summer of 06.... they are still putting final touches on its awesomeness....

yes, it will be coming out next summer, i believe june, but possibly july for US, hopefully sooner, but you know they will release in japan like 2 months before here most likely... and it looks awsome, graphics wise, from what i have heard it is based off of the same world as FF X -I:II, but different characters (mostly, still a couple that remain) and totally different story line, has nothing to do with the story lines of other games, but it set in the same place.... it is also going to be coming out on X-box 360, if anyone cares... all i know, although im most likely wrong, just what i have heard ^_^

I actually heard it was based ont he final fantasy tactics universe of Ivalice.
Tactics, btw, is a GREAT ff cult classic
and yes, the story line is entirely diffrerent.

Psssssthere is something for ya peeps waiting on FFXII. Square Enix will release the US version of Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King for PS2 on November 22, a playable demo of Final Fantasy XII will be bundled with the game.

This is not coming out for the xbox 360. Actually its not coming out for any of the next gen systems according to SE. Its PS2 only. But I can't wait for this game either.
