to all ps2er that like the anime i recomend getting this game it so kicks ass for a fighting game and the story mode is a LOT better in this one
it has a lot of stuff you can do imo its that gest fighting game made yet
miruuk i know you have a ps2 and you like dbz so im telling you get this game now if you have not akll rdy
it has some things from GT as well in it
on a scale from 1-10 for fighting games i give it an 11
only thing missing was the ability to got into ape mode with vegeta and goku
anyway get this game i love it

I still need to buy it, rented first one, bought second one. Still had save from first one and second one had bonus data if you had data from first one, whatever it was. Probably do same with third one, got 99% of things in second one.

i haven't played this one yet so i might give it a shot i wasn't big on the others i'm more a soul calibur, tekken, and marvel game fighter myself. Nevertheless u guys make it see pretty sweet so i'll check it out

I finally picked up this game and damn I've been missing out. Right now Krazi and I are working on unlocking the Dragon Arena. One question tho, and this is something thats been puzzling Krazi and I.... is a character's level from Dragon Universe related to the performance of that same character when dueling or in a world tournament?

No, it's not. The levels from Dragon Universe only apply in Dragon Arena, and Dragon Arena versus.

Interesting. I like fighting in the game but the other run around bullshit is just stupid. I understand breaking gohans story into the 3 phases of his life but I wish it had been one story. And Yamcha should have been able to fight a Cell Jr. The Dragon Rush system is fun, but really takes away the skill of fighting an oppenent. But being able to launch a Father Son Kamahameha blast has made it worth buying.
Next up. Devil May Cry 3

i wish i had money so i could but DMC3 and DBZ >< i am broke atm i bought PSP and 2 games and a cooling component for my PC so i am at zero cash and owe my parents like 600 bucks on a loan for my new PC ><

My friends and I are all upper-middle skill to high-skill players (and that's their own designation, or so they say), so Dragon Rushes often get defended at the first or second stage. We actually don't even use them that much.
Fighting the computer, yes -- Dragon Rushes are too easy to win with. Especially if you're playing as someone with a Dragon Rush Ultimate (Warp Kamehameha, Special Beam Cannon, Final Flash, etc.)... Tacking an extra 1000-1400 damage on a Dragon Rush that's already doing somewhere around 1200 damage is a real fight-stopper.
Really, though, at some point people just become too good to get caught in a Dragon Rush often.

i really wish i just had someone else to play at this game.  its fun an all to level your shit up an unlock the stuff, but once u do all that an jus get into the xp grind it would be alot more fun if u had someone to challenge. as for vegeta beating me with goku, lol i would love to see that. |

Miruuk and I can get into some really good fights. He always goes as Goku only to lvl 3 of course and I usually use Gohan. But I love Teen Gohan the most. He looks so bad ass and that was my favorite saga in DBZ. We are still trying to get Goku to 99. Its pretty fun though. Blaze up a little herb and watching Miruuk grin from ear to ear while playing a vicious fight against Kid Buu is a fucking hilarious sight. I need to get a video camera.
