Metal Gear Solid 3 came out recently, and while I haven't played it the game looks awesome and with the current track record that series has, it's a pretty sure bet that it'll be a good game.
If you like flight sims, Ace Combat 5 is amazing. Actually had to back off playing it a little cause I didn't want it to be over to quick. The missions don't feel repetative and have a good variety between ground and air based targets. It's definately worth buying, but be sure to rent Top Gun 'cause you'll probally want to see it after playing the game awhile ;D

Metal Gear: Snake Eater is great, IF you like flight sims Id also recomend Ace Combat. If you dont, stay away, its more for the "hardcore" flight sim fan. GTA: San Andreas of course. Killzone is a good fps, but dont believe the hype about it being a 'halo killer', its not. It feels kinda like a Medal of Honor style of shooter. DBZ:Budokai 3 is PS2 exclusive, if you like the first two youll like it. NFS:Underground 2 is a great street racing game. TH:Underground 2 is (of course) a great skateboarding game. X-Men Legends has been out for a couple months but is a good action rpg. Shadow Hearts: Covenant is prolly the best recent rpg for PS2.

Any specific genre's you want?

Shadow hearts is an awesome RPG. The new King of the fighters is pretty good. I'm actually playing Monster Rancher 4 right now.... don't laugh I've been playing the series since like 9th grade, and I like it. Also with the DBZ games I liked them all it needs tweaking but overall I havent been disapointed with it. I want a DBZ game like Dynasty warriors, Zelda mix fly around look for items kill massive amounts of people, aliens, and just big things. This will never happen but oh well.

Almost got into a clan in Halo2 but I accidently declined the offer and I forgot who sent it lol. Look for Lord Fulcan (Percival) and SRC211 (myslef) in Halo let me know if anyone else is playing it as much as I.
