While I don't (typically) have to deal with customer notes in my position, I do end up deciphering some of the service notes on an account panel from our other reps... and let me tell you, they're not a lot better. pplthnk th cn abrv snt by rmv let frm ne wrd thy w /a it wll b legbl. RAAAAAGH!! It doesn't count as an abbreviation if you just take letters out of words randomly!! >_<
Angry calls from pissed off customers that don't know what they're talking about aren't usually a problem, I end up de-escalating the call, have them apologizing by the end of service and then proceed to laugh at them after they've hung up. No, the worst calls by far are the ones by people that are so saturated in the essence of stupidity that if it came down to an IQ test between them and pocket lint - the lint would win by three full points.
Long story short, I work for a credit card company. Some of the calls I get go like this:
"Why are you charging me interest? None of my other banks charge me interest!"
"Can you just waive all of the charges for the last three months? I've been a really good customer since I opened your account last February."
"I didn't send in a payment, and now it's late. Why am I being charged a late fee? I'm sending you the check now."
"FUCK YOU!!! I'M NOT MAKING MY MINIMUM PAYMENT FOR $15, I'LL RUN UP THE CARD AND NEVER PAY IT OFF!"
OK. So, to recap. Credit Card companies charge interest because that's how they make money. Perhaps you were thinking of a credit union, or perhaps you're simply retarded. If you have 12 past due or overlimit fees on your account, you are not a good customer, you're a credit risk. The banking industry has not yet developed a method for time travel, however even if they had you would still probably get charged a $29 fee for using the device to make your late payment.
And lastly, my favorite... the threats to throw themselves into debt, have us foreclose your property, file bankruptcy for ten years, NEVER again have the opportunity to buy a house, car, or make another credit card application below subprime rates... over $15. So, in order to not make a payment that you rightfully owe, you would rather ruin your entire financial life? Go right ahead, have fun with that.
I hate my job.

That does look like what it says.
Only this was a Nextel i830, there is no Antenna Light. Maybe that was the problem?
