.... you find yourself calling RL friends their character names when talking on the phone or going out somewhere.
Me, nauren and code do it all the time. Its not Lisa anymore, its Yuna or Yunie lol
....also, emailing someone who doesn't play ffxi and saying kk to them.
I emailed my mom one day and said kk, she emailed me back asking what it meant lol

I've tried to use this while writing my reports as well >< Damn you SE for making my gaming life easier and not my work... they should look into that... almost like a new spell check funtion...

When you are talking to family/friends and use you fingers to do the quotation marks and say.... "Thanks for the offer, but ill have to pass" or "Yes please"
When you are going around the house doing what ever it is you do and you think you hear your kids humming FFXI music.
Wishy was always bad about calling Rlaph and Fehral there real names. They are RL friends too....lol It wasnt John or Dan(I always call him Dougie) It's always Rlaph and Ferry.

I hate it when I'm talking on AIM, as I've developed the habit of trying to clear the line by hitting the escape button, which ends up closing the window T_T.
