Nauren, have you tried this out yet? It has my interest but I'd like to know if it's a renter or worth looking for used.

This game is amazing. Absolutely must have. In my top 5 games this entire generation. Already beat it as a good guy now replaying it to beat it as a bad guy.
Graphics aren't the best...but story line (fucking awesome twists you'll never see coming) is amazing and the overal game is killer.

I'm sold.
About how much gameplay did you get out of the first run through?

About 12-14 hours worth trying to find all 350 shards, 32 dead drops, 24 skills, unlock all abilities. Second time through won't be as long since I've unlocked most stuff already.

Just picked this up today for my shiny new PS3. Can't wait to put it into the drive.

Yea kinda. He was delivering a package...package explodes...killings half the city. He survives but gains powers from it. Everyone blames him for the explosion. You have the choice to win the cities support or be a bad guy and destroy anyone you want.
one of the best twists in storyline I've seen in a long time.

Very good. Climbing a sky scraper is effortless. Lots of skills you need to unlock.

Freakin' fantastic. I felt that the game had a bit of a weak start, but by the end of the first hour I was absolutely hooked. Next thing I knew, it was like 7 hours later and time for work!
The skill system is a little simple for my tastes, especially given how much freakin' EXP (the currency for upgrading skills) you get through normal gameplay. If the way you play the game is in any way similar to how I do, you're not going to be picking and choosing your upgrades... you can cap them out pretty effortlessly.
If I had to sum it up by comparing it to other games... it would be Grand Theft Auto + Assassin's Creed + Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.
You get the open-world sandbox gameplay from GTA + Assassin's Creed, mixed in with the ease of exploration and ability to go virtually anywhere from Assassin's Creed... and the intense feeling of being an incredibly powerful force in the world from Force Unleashed.
Absolutely worth a rent to see if you're interested... I don't regret buying it since I got it for about $30.

Upgrading ease depends on what difficulty you play it on...oh and it chooses the difficulty itself at the beginning unless you tell it otherwise. I started on Normal and it changed me to medium. I'm now playing on Hard only getting 3xp per take down.
