Played God of War III some more and am enjoying it. Pretty brutal and lots of fun. Guessing I'm about 3/4 of the way through the game.

Finished God of War II, got the plat, and am now working on God of War III. I can't believe how similar it is to II. Most of the moves are exactly the same, you lose your powers, go to Hades, etc. The graphics are great and the boss fights are cool, but they could have mixed things up a bit.
I'm actually God of War'd out right now, so I've been playing Street Fighter IV Arcade online the last couple days.

I finished the first GoW, got to a stage in 2nd GoW that I didn't like and I never went back to the game lol... The 3rd is supposed to be the best of the lot. I'm stuck right now, actually. I'm in the stage with the giant discs you have to turn to cross the water, and the giant spinning wheel you have to stop time to climb over. I've done 3-4 laps around the area, and don't know where to go next. The puzzles in the game are somewhat difficult. I really just want to tear shit up with merciless badass Kratos, as opposed to being smart and savvy McGuiver Kratos who figures shit out. So instead of wandering around for hours or looking up crap online, I've been playing Street fighter again. Got up to an 1850 rating with Vega last night! But then I lost 3 in a row and am back down to 1550. L.A. Noire (quickly losing interest, it just makes me want to play GTA). The whole "look at the facial expressions to see if they're lying" turned me off. A lot of people seemed to love the game at first, but quickly tired of it.

Played the hell out of WWE All Stars when my brother was in town, and I got the plat after boosting with someone for the online trophies. Fun game with the exaggerated moves and loaded roster. The online play was horrible - load times took forever.
Moved on to Super Street Fighter Arcade, which was a nice update. Vega got a couple buffs, and I've played decently well with him online (~1500 rating). The new characters: Dark Ryu and Oni are pretty cool, and so are the Kung-Fu Brothers (Yun and Yang), but they are OP. I got 100% which was pretty easy (no trials or online stuff required).
I'm playing God of War now. Picked up the God of War Collection, and played through GoW I (plat), and am working on GoW II. GoW III is in the mail and I'll start that after I get the plat in II. The first two are fun, and I'm sure the third won't disappoint.
After III I might try Mortal Kombat, but not sure. Sort of itching to play an RPG.

I actually played inFamous 2 about two weeks ago. I put a decent amount of time into the first one but I recall stopping once you get to the next "island". inFamous 2 is actually quite a bit different from the first one and I actually think it is better. You don't start off with nothing, you actually have most of the skills from inFamous 1 to use, and the AI controlled enemies don't come directly from the U.S. Army Ranger Sniper division. I like the comment about the sniper division ;D Seriously - you'd be sliding on the train tracks moving pretty fast and some dude on a building a half mile away would hit you three times. I'm excited about picking up Infamous 2, and will probably pick it up later this year.

I've never played a Persona game. Grabbed the demo...it seemed kind of cheesy.
I might pick it up after the price drops. If I'm going to buy a newer title right now, I'll probably go for Infamous 2 or Dragon Age 2 - games I know I will enjoy.

There's a glitch with Cure VI - it does 99,999 DMG to undead, rofl
edit: not as good as FFVI where you could just toss a phoenix down to kill undead!

Thief is actually the best evasion tank in the game at the moment At the moment? THF was always the best evasion tank because of the inherent evasion bonuses. THF just couldn't keep hate. Do the new abilities allow THF to keep hate well?

lol@all the theory-crafting for TH last time >.> I always thought Treasure Hunter just increased the drop rate of each item by a percentage. TH 1 = 3%, TH 2 = 5%, etc. I never did any testing, but it was always interesting to read people's theories and viewing their test results. Everything was always inconclusive. I did enjoy doing things like evasion testing and TP testing (after they changed the system). It was annoying that the dev team didn't disclose much info, but that increased the sense of community outside the game, as people worked to figure things out.

So yeah.... the way treasure hunter really worked all this time was revealed in one of the level cap increases 85-90 I think.... I didnt want to tell you locke... I didnt... But it appears it has always been a stacking debuff, and the ONLY thing +th does is let you get a higher initial stack. Basically it caps out at 9 with the help of ranger's Bounty shot, but you dont need +th to get it that high just luck on the procs. I'm sure all of us thought of the thief's knife and TH2 as some MAGICAL BEAST before finding this out. I'm also sure the JP's knew this all along lol. " WHY SIRRY GAIJIN PAY SO MUCH FOR THIEF KNIFE WWWWWWWWWWWWWWW" I read that it was a stacking debuff on the alla THF forums awhile ago, and that now when TH procs it shows up in the logs. Amazing they kept it quiet for so long, if in fact it always worked that way. I haven't read anything about proc rate, or what "TH9" actually means in terms of drop rate. When most of EO went over to WoW, that was pretty much it for me. I didn't deactivate because there was only two things I wanted: THF Knife and THF AFv2 pants. I did run with another dynamis shell once (and won Windy for them lol), but the pants weren't worth running 2 nights a week for god knows how long. I continued to hunt the Knife, but after they nerfed it, that was it for me. It dropped and I was the only signed on...the end.
