This is what was done with the accumulated gil prior to switching over to our current monthly payout system: Here is what I want to pay out before "resetting" the bank. Total Bank: 12 060 000 Current Member's Bank Balance: 8 442 000 Suggested Payout: 6 300 000 Remaining Member's Bank Balance of 2 142 000 will be moved into the Group Bank and the new banking rules for monthly payouts will start to be applied. I split the payout into 3 categories, I placed people in the categories by rough participation in sky events. I did not just go by point values, but also considered how often the members have come on runs. Yes I should have posted this before xmas day =P 125k per person Payout125k x 44 people = 5 500 000 Aerya (RDM) : 49 Alanthiana (WHM) : 41 Asheera (BLM) : 80 Axia (WHM) : 42 Bale (NIN) : 19 (HNM-MVP Sep 05) Batteryacid (BLM/WHM) : 0 Brokensword (WHM) : 25 Charon (RDM) : 6 Codeine (RDM) : 20 Damfool (PLD/WAR) : 82 (HNM-MVP Oct 05) Danta (MNK) : 3 Destro (RNG/SAM) : 13 Dragelfia (DRG) : 30 Evoker (BLM) : 41 Fehral (RNG) : 12 Fluffnstuff (WHM) : 16 Gael (SAM) : 16 Gamereaver (MNK) : 61 Imohtep (WAR) : 56 Itachisasuke (DRK) : 95 Jenday (PLD) : 76 Jonathan (MNK) : 45 JudgeBlitz (BLM) : 27 JudgeJacobs (RNG) : 16 Krazi (MNK) : 20 Lexxia (WAR) : 20 Lucretsia (BLM): 80 Markus (WHM) : 46 Melica (RDM/WHM) : 21 Miruuk (SMN/WHM) : 4 Morbidangel (BLM) : 55 Morlen (WAR) : 30 Nauren (RNG) : 35 (HNM-MVP Nov 05) Nedicinevi (WHM) : 44 Nickrhodes (RDM) : 42 Papachubby (NIN) : 50 Redjaxx (RDM) : 11 Relik (PLD/RNG) : 27 Sinful (MNK/RNG) : 48 Sirlancealot (SAM) : 51 Tarick (MNK) : 50 (MVP Nov 05) Tempus (DRK) : 96 Yunalenne (BLM) : 44 Zorich (BLM) : 33 50k per person Payout50k x 10 people = 500 000 Chaucer (PLD) : 21 Crimsondeath (THF) : 25 Dragar (THF) : 15 Estara (WHM) : 8 Isabo (WHM) : 15 Mirowr (THF) : 18 Panthercat (WHM) : 18 Rome (RDM) : 21 Virothix (DRG) : 23 Vujaud (RDM) : 11 25k per person Payout25k x 12 people = 300 000 Conna (SMN) : 6 Flyingsnow (BLM) : 1 (MVP Sep 05) Gatsu (SAM) : 3 Hayabusa (NIN) : 3 Hercules (SMN) : 4 Kaifu (DRG) : 6 Kautamer (WHM) : 2 Lohice (NIN) : 8 Odyseeus (BRD) : 6 Putumayo (RDM) : 8 Tibent (RDM) : 6 Ygrane (PLD) : 2 I plan to start sending out payouts today if enough of you respond affirmatively to this idea. -t Any other lies you'd like to come up with for me to disprove Aerya? Face it, you know we took nothing. But it doesn't matter, you've already caused enough harm with it. Just get on with your life so we can get on with our's. Nobody took anything. Nobody stole anything.

EO was made almost two years ago on the night of June 22nd. I am proud to be wearing the same Pearlsack, from the same Linkshell bought that night from Port Windurst for ~8k which Mark, Fel and I pooled our gil together for. I chipped in the least ; ; lol. We got together and brainstormed for names that night, flipping through old FF magazines when in FFVIII Magazine the page entitled "Edea's Orphanage" caught our eye. We contemplated, we thought about it. We knew we wanted an FF related name and we knew we wanted a green pearl. Our previous MMO all of our characters were FF names with the last name Kinneas. (10 gil for who knows where Kinneas name is taken from.) I am proud, to almost two years later, be wearing that same Sack from that same Shell. EO is a legacy in every way. The good times, the hard times. From when we'd have six people on at max during prime times. This was our first downfall - summer ended and we lost a lot of people who quit game for school as well as a lot of members left for the then new hot thing - ITV. we progressed from then. Majority of members must have been in the 40s during this time. We ascended and evolved, passed through genkai and af. Our numbers grew. Soon we'd hit 64/64 a couple of times. It was incredible to take a look at what EO became and it's hard to believe what it came from. This is another bump in the road. EO will get through it and over it. Friendships can never be replaced But tanks and mages can. I just want to say... <3 EO. And I hope you're willing to continue to be a part of the this great thing. Our path has been long and hard, but more rewarding and satisfying. I'm not going anywhere. Markus isn't going anywhere. Tempus isn't going anywhere (unless you bribe me, then I might be able to work something out ) (Seriously, I want to take this oppurtunity to give you props Temp - you're often looked at as the bad guy - but you care about EO just as much as the next person, and even at times when it seems you're an asshole, people just have to realize it's because you care and it's your way of doing things. Nobody better ever doubt the amount of commitment you put into EO and how you have nothing but good intentions for EO. It's a shame you've become our Scapegoat. But we wouldn't be here if it wasn't for your perseverence - /kneel.) Krazi's not going anywhere. Miruuk isn't going anywhere. Itachisasuke isn't going anywhere. Xaero isn't going anywhere. Beren isn't going anywhere. None of us are going anywhere. EO isn't going anywhere. EO will always be there. <3 EO. Thank you, all of you, anyone who has ever dawned a pearl, regardless of whether or not you dawn that pearl anymore - thank you for two amazing years of memories. I look forward to two more years with the people whom I've grown so close to. Thank you EO. P.S... I'm done feeling bitter. The initital shock is over. Look, to make amends: I searched far and wide, and Ash is a pretty good biker... But I got your bike back Aerya ; ;

Let it be known why I, and most likely other SH are similarly upset:
Here's PM I sent to Imoh, not long after Imoh and I exchanged how much we respected each other and wished each other luck. Shortly after I found out the truth.
Other people found things out and the cat was out of the bag, so the part about me shutting my mouth about this no longer applies.
Let it be known why I'm hurt. I'm not hurt because people are leaving. I'm hurt by the way it went down.
Apparently it goes something like this: Aerya: Hey MemberEOhasTrained: Sup? Aerya: <talks casually> Member: <talks casually> Aerya: So, are you happy in EO? -----
apparently this has been going on for 2+ weeks and everybody but the SH knew... And everyone kept it a secret. Apparently they were going to wait until Saturday after Sky to quit, so everyone had one last chance to use their points.
You're right, Imoh you worked damn hard. But so did I. So did Tempus - but in a different way which isn't appreciated. So did all the SH.
I don't see how we deserved this... I don't see how we didn't at least deserve to know...
Here's a thought: You could rollover your current EO Points into your new LS, so that when they leave EO officially, nobody feels like their points were wasted.
And to the people who are leaving (apparently it's quite a large list) I salute the ones who've come out about it. To the ones who have kept quiet about it for over 2 weeks - I lost as much respect for you as I did for Imoh, although Imoh drew my tears. But then again you probably don't care whether or not I respect you if you were willing to do this in the first place.
It's one thing if you're unhappy. I can understand that. What I do not understand is why people would want to break EO. You're unhappy and are too sick of things to work things out - then fine. But why try to break EO in the process.
I like Krazi's search comment: "The knife in the back can only hurt for so long. EO forever."
