They've already circumvented the IP block. Gold spam city in gen chat.
Funny thing though. The GMS teleport the gold spammers to the starting area and turn them hostile so everyone can kill them rofl. They rez them over and over too.
One gm turned a gold farmer into a chipmunk thing while doing this. Pretty funny.

So yeah...
I actually like the game so far. Didn't expect to.
However that doesn't mean it has viable endgame, etc. It just means the initial low level experience is quite enjoyable.
I have been playing with a 360 controller and once you get used to the controls the combat is fluid and involved.
I also like the art style, they have several character presets to choose from as well as static templates that you can edit yourself. The char art style is Asian themed, the overall art style is steampunk/fantasy I guess. And let me say, the sky boxes and cities I have seen so far have been pretty epic both in scale and art style.
First day was pretty smooth, the servers were up when they said they would be and I had no issues all day. I'm pretty happy with the way the action combat system is working especially for casters. I think the targeting system is going to cause problems for healers though (you aim your spells like a FPS with a target reticle, travel time, etc.)

Funniest stand up I've seen for a while. This is only part one, watch it to the end. I watched it, he's pretty funny.

Anyone else trying Tera online?
Gonna mess around with it to see what this action combat system is like. At least it will kill some time till diablo 3 lol.
If you pre-purchase now you can play tomorrow via early access, actual release is the 1st.
And yes Nos the game is dumb/gay/lame/stupid/etc.

I remember playing it in computer class whenever I went, in High School.
It was a war game pretty much, turn based. You allotted points to research/food/military and such. You could fight with other people too. I forget exactly how it worked but I'm hoping maybe someone here has played it and might remember. I don't remember there being any artwork, it was purely text/number based.
Anyways, shot in dark.
