Raj. I received your apology via AIM the other evening and I read it in the previous post. I never once asked you or anyone to understand something you don't "believe in" or "understand" and mind you I know you are only 16 years old. When I was 16, even I was "uncomfortable" with gay people mostly because I thought I was gay (And now I'm proud to say I am damn it!). The point that frustrated me was not your inability to have a decent conversation or the name calling. What really hurt was that you thought by posting on this site you could somehow scar me or my reputation with a family that I have strove to build around myself. A family who still cares even when I'm not around that often. You must have thought that it was some game. Hurting human beings isn't a game. As you will see as you gain maturity and age that sexual preference is never a game either--its a way of life. Take being gay out of it, trying to "one up" someone isn't the way to live life either. Respect yourself for your accomplishments and be humble in your faults, but also respect others ups and downs in life. Its only human. I never once was going to mention our conversation to anyone or on this board and you did to my surprise. I was disappointed that someone who had the respect of my friends would act that way. I hope you understand a little why gay people don't "choose" to be gay. Why would anyone "choose" to have to battle with situations such as this one where someone wants you at the center of the arena so others can throw stones at you. In this case, Raj that didn't happen much to YOUR suprise I should think. I don't try to change the way people feel or believe or live their life. I do expect human kind to be accepting of me as myself. I don't define myself as "gay." In fact, if you ever meet me in person I probably would never utter a word about it (although I'm pretty gay and you can tell once I open my mouth . . . SHUT UP CORRAN!). Anyway, apologies are words just as your grave remarks were just words. Words can affect me, but they don't change me and I promise I'll never forget any of the words you've said for better or for worse. If anything good came of this at all I hope its that you have a glorious life of music that you are so passionate about, but remember the stereotype that when there is music there will always be gay people. I hope you've learned to be a little more open-minded in regard to that aspect of your life or you'll never be successful in the music world and that would be a shame. The greatest apology to me will be for you to open your eyes and see what's around you and don't dismiss anything you don't understand, no matter who or what it is that comes in your path. Ciao, darling and good luck where ever you end up in Vanadiel and irl.

If Jon is a good grade getter most US schools take kindly to International students. FYI, Brown is Ivy League so a GREAT grade getter is what you need to be for it.

Ruukmeister,
I've always feared that something like that would happen to me or someone close to me and it disappoints me that this game isn't set up better to prevent such happenings. That is a lot of investment lost on a material level. I do agree with Tempus that this is not a reason to quit the game. In situations like this, its a time to grow stronger and continue with your head held high. Now, if this is an "out" or a "final straw" then I see your side of things. While I say I am here and I still log on once a week or so, I've not actually played and interacted with everyone in three months. I don't really call it quitting, but just focusing on other aspects of my life. The biggest issue is that to be successful in FFXI, you must invent A LOT of time in your life to the game. I can't do that right now, because I am trying to build a career and start a new life in a new city. I feel justified in my actions of not playing lately and, who knows, maybe this is my way of having the "out" to just say "I quit" as well . . . without you and Krazi . . . I just don't want you to think back in three months and wonder why you quit for that particular reason. If you feel like it is your time then so be it. I just don't want you to regret and I want every memory of this game to be a good one all the way to the end. All of this is for Krazi as well, although if my rl friends were to quit this game I understand the notion of wanting to quit as well. Good luck guys on your journey no matter where it takes you. Maybe all our paths will cross again.

I think we need to watch certain use of certain words in this LS and in forums. You haven't been around as of late (and neither have I), so I don't take too much offense to your choice of words. I just wanted to make you aware that it can be VERY offensive to a lot of dedicateed people of EO. Thanks for your time to read this. No response is necessary.

If we had dinosaurs why not Dragons! I bet the dragon they find will just be like a dinosaur though, no fire breathing =[ They had dinosaurs in Canada?

Corran: We've spoken in real life about this (finally). I'm so sad to see you go. We had great times in this game together and EO restructured our college careers. I'm glad we stuck together in this family and I'm so proud of your accomplishments. I know I'm late saying this, but I wanted it to be archived that you are the best little brother an only child can have in real life and in this game. /bow Hopefully people will remember us years from now when EO is still going strong. Long Live EO Forever!
