EO's Pug Rules- 25 or 10 Man Raids
- Tier 11 / Future Raids: Do Not Pug
- None at this time
- Thursday-Monday on your Main when EO has already completed that Raid for the week.
OR
- Tuesday-Monday on an Alternate character when your main is already scheduled for an EO Raid ID.
- Tier 10 or below: Puggable any time*
- *Qualifications
- First and foremost you are in EO as a raiding guild, help your guild before pugs.
- If you take an unfinished EO Raid ID, 10 or 25 man, and allow a pug to finish the raid: up to -5000 EP + loss of guild rank.
- If you run a pug raid instead of an EO raid group, 10 or 25 man, that asks for help: up to -2000 EP + loss of guild rank.
- Including if your normal group is not scheduled for the week and another group asks for help.
- If you are late to an EO raid group, 10 or 25 man, due to being in a pug raid: up to -500 EP
- Pug in these rules is not considered to be a mainly EO run filling a spot due to no one available, but is instead you joining a mainly non-EO group.
[/li][/ul] [/li][li] You will be expected to commit to one EO 10 man raid group per main character and not switch constantly and cite that as a reason for pugging. If your schedule just does not allow consistently attending a 10 man raid group, post your reasoning before consistently joining pug raids, the above penalties will still apply unless an exception is made ahead of time. SeeDs and above will vote on if an exception will be allowed. - If your regular group is not scheduled for a week, you are still exptected to help other groups who ask before pugging.
[/li][/ul][/li][/ul] [/li][li] EO Raids Pugging Spots- EO 25 Man raids will not pug empty spots.
- EO 10 Man raids may at their discretion pug empty spots but are still required to use EPGP.
- Pugging spots will only be done after using available EO members.
[/li][/ul]

Basic system: EPGPInformational pages: Add-on Information, EPGP TheoryAddons: General: - Now used for 25 AND 10 man raids!
- Effort Points are determined by kills and participation.
- Non-current Tiers only award boss kill Ep for 25m: Progression and Heroics.
- Gear points are determined by drops received.
- Priority is EP divided by GP
- Automatically determined by the addons.
- Example: 1500 EP / 500 GP = 3.0 PR
- Points will be decayed at server reset every week by 30%
- All official raids, 10 and 25s, will be posted by the 'sponsor', which will be either a mentor or officer.
- A mentor or officer must be present for any non-pug raid to award EPGP.
- Raids run without 'sponsors' will be considered PUGs and punishable by PUG rules if appropriate.
- A 10m with 1 or 2 PUGs is considered a guild run and all interested parties roll for an item in question to determine if it goes to the guild or a pug. If a guild member wins the roll, then the item is then handed out according to Epgp&Pr. Otherwise the highest PUG roll wins the item.
- A 10m with 3 or more PUGs is handled the same way as a Baradin Hold run is.

- Normal: 50 EP / 15 minutes from 'start' to 'finish'.
- Hard Mode: 75 EP / 15 minutes from 'start' to 'finish'.
- Double EP for 25's Non-Heroic progression kill
- 4x EP for 25's Heroic progression kill
- 5x EP for first and last boss in zone, 25's Heroic progression kill
- Sign-up/On-Time Bonus EP:
- 50 EP given out 15m before raid time to everyone to successfully accept their 1st raid invite. If raid invites are not done 15m prior, then this bonus goes out at raid start time but not to Officers (Instructor+).
- Sitting out on Standby:
- 100% of EP given while online is earned if signed-up and available by raid start time. This EP is forfeit if not able to immediately come when needed. To be eligible for partial EP, a Mentor+ must be notified at time of early departure.
10s & 25's Penalties:- Excessively hindering the raid:
- Warnings will be given, continued offenses will result in penalties:
- Penalty: -75 EP per occurrence.
- If EP is 0, Penalty: +200 GP
- Hindering defined as:
- Frequently late or no-shows without advanced notice.
- Excessive AFK's.
- Frequently being unprepared with food & flasks.
- Excessively disrupting or delaying the raid.
- Being online during raids and declining to help when asked.
- Raiders who are online and not raiding are expected to give a valid reason as to why they cant attend if asked to help.
[/blockquote] 10's & 25's Gear Points:- Gear Points cost is automatically determined by the addon.
- Alternate character and Offspec are free.
- Everyone has a Base GP of 500 to minimize extremely high PR.
Priority:- Raid spec always has priority over non-raid use.
- Example: Joe (PR 2) wants a drop for raid use, Bob (PR 10) wants the drop for non-raid use, Joe wins the drop.
- Priority "Levels":
- 1st: Main Character, Main Spec
- 2nd: Main Character, Off Spec / Alt Character, Main Spec
- 3rd: Alt Character, Off Spec
- Using a Tier Token for non-raid when looted as raid spec:
- First offense: Double the item's GP price, demotion of guild rank.
- Second offense: EP (Not GP) set to zero, demoted to 'inactive' guild rank.
- Third offense: Removed from raiding with EO, probably removed from EO.
- Priority Exceptions
- Modified priority items, please talk to an officer if you have suggestions about items on this list.
- Hunters have main spec priority for any DPS Bows/Guns over classes using them for stat bonuses.

Here in [EO] we strongly emphasize forum usage. We feel that if you at least casually check our forums several times a week, this can not only help our guild, but help yourself as well. It has been our observation over the last 3 years that people who at least casually check our forums tend to be more dedicated, helpful, and informed members. This being said, there is one rule for [EO] in regards to forum usage. - Minimal Forum usage is required to raid with [EO]
- You must check our Announcements section (section viewable by guild members) at least every other day to keep current on any important guild updates.
We don't require that you be a post-whore and post every day, but having a forum login and checking the important threads a couple of times a week is asked.

We would like to take this opportunity to answer some frequently asked questions about EO WoW. For further information, please feel free to either speak to an officer in game, or PM them on these forums. - Do you have any class or level requirements?
- Do you have any age requirements?
- We ask you be 18+ please, unless a very close friend of a current member who can vouch for your maturity and how relaxed you are about certain topics.
- Our conversation can get sexually graphic at times, and cussing is allowed in moderation. Please be aware that we are not PG rated.
- However, we do not tolerate discrimination towards race, gender, sexual preference, nationality, religious beliefs or other sensitive issues.
- Our current member's range is anywhere from 16-40+
- Do you accept Twinks?
- Twinks are not our focus, nor is keeping a character eternally at a certain level. We encourage skill, not buying power. We are a raid focused guild.
- However, Twinks of current members are welcome.
- How big is the guild?
- We have 40+ people, some are more casual or "part-time" players.
- Most evenings and weekends we have 20-30 people on at any time.
- What is the guild focus or goals?
- PVE Raiding is our key focus
- Heroics
- Occasional Arena or Battlegrounds PvP
- PvP is not required, several members find doing things with friends to be a lot of fun, no matter if its PvE or PvP.
- Do I have to raid?
- EO's goals are end-game raid focused. If you do not want to raid with EO a few days a week, another guild will be a better home for you.
- Currently we average 3-4 25s and 1-4 10s raid evenings a week, this may change from time to time to allow progression.
- We will monitor attendance for the first month, new members who do not make a majority of raids will be asked to consider another guild.
- Can I raid with other guilds or pugs?
- If you wish to raid with another group, another guild would suit you better then EO.
- With that being said, we have rules regarding pugs, please see our loot system post for more specifics.
- What raiding responsibilities do members have?
- Make as many 25 man raids as you can, preferably 75% or more.
- 10 man raids are encouraged but not required.
- When choosing a 10 man group, stick with it, don't bounce between groups.
[/li][/ul] [/li][li] Be ready on time or note you will be late in Group Calendar. - Group Calendar is required for raid signups.
[/li][/ul] [/li][li] Show up in a PvE spec. - If your spec needs work, be prepared to change it.
[/li][/ul] [/li][li] Show up with enough food and flasks to last 4 hours of constant wipes. - We don't constantly wipe but be prepared!
[/li][/ul] [/li][li] Show up having a basic knowledge of the boss fights. - If you haven't done a fight, you are expected to read up and watch videos to get a rough idea.
[/li][/ul] [/li][/ul] [/li][li] What type of loot system do you use? - 10 & 25 Man raids, "EPGP"
[/li][li] What time do you Raid? - We have two regular 10 man groups with varying times, along with various alt/other runs.
- 25 Man Raid time is 10:15 PM EST start Tues/Weds/Thur, 9:00 PM EST Sun. (if needed) Tues/Weds/Thur raids ~2 1/2 hours, Sun ~3 1/2 hours.
- Times listed are server time, eastern timezone and days/times are subject to change.
[/li][li] Who are the guild Officers? - Oggbi/Jonàthan, Aerii/Aerisia/Aerisi, Lillil/Liliea, Nosferalatu/Tornossy, Tyruz/Tyrellien, Nalyn/Darythe
[/li][li] It shouldn't need to be mentioned, but just in case: If you buy or sell gold, buy or sell characters, etc, don't bother asking to join.[/li][/ul]

Who We Are: Origins
Edea's Orphans started out as a Final Fantasy XI Linkshell on the Titan server. We grew from a small social institution, to a large end-game force. After a long run, Markus, the leader, grew tired and decided to step down. Due to the way they are designed, FF linkshells cannot have ownership transfered. Thus Edea's Evolution was born, with Miruuk being selected from the leaders of EO to take the reigns. After a time, the linkshell started dwindling due to a variety of factors including loss of people's interest in the game, changes in people's lives that restricted game play time, and so on.
Around this time, EO WoW was born. A few members from EO/EE decided they wanted to still continue to play together, but for various reasons decided to do so in a new game. Tempus, now known as Nikodemos, (And damn whoever made it so I couldn't use my preferred name, give it back! -t) was selected to lead the new branch of Edea's Orphans in World of Warcraft, on the Fenris server. We have grown into a medium-large end-game force, just as we were in FF. We plan to try to do everything you can do in WoW, but at the same time we understand everyone has a life outside the game and don't want to see anyone have their job/relationship/etc affected by the game.
EO is about family and friends playing together to conquer challenges in virtual worlds and having fun together while doing so. While it may be relatively easy to find people to "beat the game" with, it's harder to find friends that you can genuinely care about as you play. We welcome you to our home on the internet, and hope you will stay and become one of the family.
